Straddling the Divide

I sit astride
an emotional fence
trying to stay me
in a war of words
no one can win.

In red white and blue America

Real Toads ~ Just One Word: Halved

  1. I, too, have to keep reminding myself that while I may wish someone would die, I must avoid the overwhelming motivation to carry out the murder. I don't know how much longer I can resist the urge.

  2. Trouble is that one of the perpetrators has more power than anyone before holding his office. Or takes advantage of his prerogative to use it willy-nilly for his own good or as childlike revenge on those with whom he disagrees, i.e. for one, his predecessor.
    Sad, sad, sad.

  3. Too true, Susie. I too feel of two minds all the time. Argue or keep the peace? Stay angry, keep in tune, or tune out to stay happier and sane?

  4. It's so sad....but it needed to be said.

  5. These are difficult times we are living in where uncertainity prevails. But we musn't let go of hope.💜
